NBC Channel 3, at 6:00 pm, in Las Vegas will be running a story on the failure of the state to pay the FOP bargaining unit the negotiated $500 retention payment, on top of the retention payments given to all state employees. Probably should have mentioned all the other failures to comply with the CBA that we are having at the institution level, the failure or lack of concern by the DHRM and LRU to enforce the contract on their end. Employees should not have to grieve to get the Dept. to honor terms within the contractual agreement, and even after winning their grievance nothing changes. SMH
