So they are doing forced overtime and ,if it wasn’t listed before hand, not paying us. We are told to do a payroll adjustment and we will be paid at a later date. A quick google search states this is illegal, but im not sure if im missing something.

It’s not against the FLSA until they don’t pay you. If you refuse to work it, you will be subject to discipline if they give the order to work lawfully.
It is against the FLSA, our attorney has said it’s possible to file a complaint and pursue liquidated damages, even though you will get paid the overtime before the complaint is settled.
