Longevity Pay done

As discussed and voted on by the members, today I executed the settlement agreement that will provide Longevity Pay to bargaining unit I (Officers/Forensic Specialists). There were some language issues that required discussion and changes before I signed the agreement, which caused a minor delay. Please keep in mind DHRM and the Governor's Office still have to sign off and give final approval over this settlement. I do not know what kind of timeframe we are looking at, but I do know that the state will be paying those of you that are eligible, the Longevity payment that was missed in December. Moving forward you can expect your longevity payments on the same schedule as the rest of state employees.
