Good morning Brothers and Sisters, FOP membership will have the opportunity to vote live on zoom to ratify the CBA for Unit I on Monday May 19th. We realize that you all work different shifts and in consideration for that, we are scheduling 3 voting times for 1 hour each. The first will be at 10 am, the second will be at 3:30 pm, and the last will be at 7 pm. The CBA with the exeption of the compensation article will remain unchanged. There will be one change that was agreed to, memorialized in a MOU at a later date. This change will be instead of 5 days of aministrative leave for PTSD issues, this will change to 3 days. This does not prevent you from using additional sick time if you need more time to seek treatment. Each member will receive an email with the zoom link and the compensation article for your review. The primary changes are listed in red and this was the document submitted to the arbitrator as our proposal. Please take some time to review this article and decide before Monday as to what your vote will be. All members who log on within the 1 hour time frame will be allowed to vote, even if the recording of votes occurs after the end of the 1 hour period. Please have your member ID ready to give your number and confirm your membership prior to casting your vote. Be sure to check the email that you provided us for the ratification vote email. If you do not receive the email from Secretary Prater, please reach out and update your email address with him.
