Supervisors CBA Ratification

Brothers and Sisters, I am happy to inform you that after a nasty blow up with the Labor Relations Unit today, we finally have a CBA for our supervisors to ratify. The LRU tried to hold the compensation that we won for you all in arbitration, hostage from the BOE meeting that is scheduled for next week. Their attempt to strongarm us into signing their leave article did not work. After both our attorney and myself blew up on them and hung up on the chief of LRU, we were able to negotiate a last second compromise that finalized the leave article and avoided waiting any longer for the arbitrators decision. The arbitrator informed both parties that the decision on the leave article would not be ready til June 20th. This would not give us time to get the CBA funded as the legislative session would be over. In order to secure a complete CBA, the LRU agreed to take our entire Leave proposal in exchange for the 2 personal days.

All supervisors who are members of FOP should have received an email with the zoom meeting link and the complete CBA. Please review the CBA and be prepared to cast your vote Sunday. We will need to ID you and confirm you are a FOP Member to record your vote.
