Officer assaulted

Today at HDSP one of our FOP Brothers was assaulted and sustained injury to his face. Brother Wesling was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injury. I'm told that there was difficulty in reporting this due to a radio that did not function properly. Brother Ashcraft and Brother Binder were at the hospital checking on Wesling. Ash kept me updated and seemed to think Wesling was doing well. Let's all keep Brother Wesling in our thoughts and prayers as we wish him a speedy recovery.
