Supervisors Negotiations

Oct 22, 2024
1 min read

I wanted to update all of you as to the state of negotiations for the supervisors CBA. We have been working for months on the Unit N CBA. Yesterday it became apparent that the LRU is not going to move on any of the articles that we are in disagreement over. Instead of wasting anymore time listening to them say no, we decided to declare impasse. The next step will be interest arbitration, where we will submit our last best offer and the state will do the same. Then an arbitrator will consider both offers and arguments, before rendering a decision as to which offer he accepts. This is an all or nothing arbitration, it will be our offer or theirs. We may have some articles agreed to between now and then, but as of now there are 13 articles that are hit agreed to. We will keep you updated as we move forward.
