During the Board of Examiners Meeting today, our contract, with the 2 pay grade increase corrected, passed. The correction was made on the record and so we are good to go with the raises. I do want to bring to your attention that Governor Lombardo voted Nay on the contract because of holiday pay, personal days, and muster pay. He may wish to choose to be our friend, when his election was so close to begin with and we are the largest state law enforcement union that works under him. We may have to review our support for him come election time. I will say that there is likely a news story coming out tonight saying that this raise isn't enough. I will post the link for the news story as soon as I have it.
