Paycheck dues

I received the following email from the Labor Relations Unit, regarding the payroll witholdings. This shows that the AFSCME dues are in the process of being canceled for bargaining unit I. They are also putting together what FOP will need to start payroll witholding for dues. FOP hopes to have this sorted and online by February 1st.

Thank you for reaching out to me.  The Controllers office sent over your earlier email, and I was working to address your requests.  We are in the process of canceling any payments to Afscme and I will get you the requested documents to begin FOP deductions.  I hope to have something to you today, but tomorrow at the latest.  Thank you for reaching out to me and I look forward to working together.
