Almost all of the supervisors who are on the Supervisors Committee were present today for our meeting with the LRU. They were able to see firsthand what we have been dealing with. Our attorney was heavy handed with his push to begin the non financial negotiations of a CBA for all our supervisors. We expressed that this needs to happen sooner rather than later. Our hope is to get the negotiations scheduled and completed within the next 2 months. The primary points of importance we explained were discipline, grievances, shift bid, and firearms for duty in the community. Not all of the work we do is published in real time and we appreciate your patience, while the state has been dragging their feet.
