Step raise for COT’s

If you are a COT who started before July 1st, but hit your 6 months after July 1st, you will be happy to know that FOP discussed the issue of you getting your 6 month step today with NDOC. This issue is resolved and you will need to keep an eye out for a message from DD Shea. Once she can compile the list of those who are owed a step raise under the conditions outlined above, you can get your pay corrected. Be sure to check your work email regularly, and respond accordingly to resolve this issue.

Thank you for finally getting this resolved. I’ve been talking about it with other COTs for a while. I have two questions tho, we are only receiving the step not the additional grades (34 to 36)? And will there be back pay for it or is it just in effect today?

Great news! For those that started after July 1st, are there any more steps we need to take to ensure our step raise goes into effect this month.
