596 passed as amended!!!!

After a lengthy day of waiting for the senate, the bill that was amended to keep our CBA mostly funded was passed unanimously in the senate!!! Then because it had to gain concurrence from the assembly, we had to wait until they called it in the Assembly. They did this with 10 minutes left in the session!!!!! So, now the bill to fund our CBA in part, is in the hands of Governor Lombardo. This is the last step and we will be paying close attention to any developments regarding his signature. Thank you all for your support and patience. Navigating this political circus is not pleasant, but we got through it together.

Understand that this all can be read by the people your talking about, I would appreciate all of our leaders, reps, members and all of the above and more, to stop disrespecting the people that decide our fate. The union does a great job and is appreciated, but name calling, bad mouthing or belittling on these open blogs and the political figures reading this..... if I were them, I would laugh at the thought of helping us. Please be respectful.

Sorry if I offend anyone or if you have a different opinion.

This isn't the only blogged post I'm referring to just fyi.
