Bargaining input

Greetings from your Union, FOP! To all Bargaining Unit I members, let me first begin by thanking you for your support of FOP in the recent election.  We couldn’t have done it without you!  Now its time to get to work and we need your input to create the best Collective Bargaining Agreement(CBA) possible. This is your opportunity to submit your input on what you feel needs improved.  We need your ideas in priority order, so we can address them with the State bargaining team when negotiations begin.  There is a limited time to submit your ideas, so don’t hesitate.  We will be having a Lodge meeting Saturday January 7th to discuss which items will have priority during negotiations.  If you would like to submit your ideas, with solutions, please email them to our Secretary at: praterfop21@yahoo.com no later than Friday January 6th, 2023 by 4pm. FOP Members, there has not been a more important meeting to attend and provide your vote on how the future contract will be drafted.  I cannot stress this enough, your chance to make your voice heard is now.  Do not send us complaints, we are not your spouse or the grievance coordinator.  We need problems that occur in the workplace, with solutions that are legitimate and reasonable. Don’t be the one who sits back and complains to your fellow officers, but doesn’t speak up when the time to act is now.
