Battle of the Badge

On November 1, 2025, the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, hosted an unforgettable showcase of grit, skill, and unity: Battle of the Badge V. This premier jiu-jitsu event brought together law enforcement professionals from across the region, and our very own Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 21 was proud to stand behind Team Nevada, a force to be reckoned with.

Four NDOC officers stepped onto the mats representing our State with courage and discipline. Their performances were nothing short of inspiring, earning multiple victories and showcasing the strength and heart of Nevada’s correctional community. From takedowns to submissions, each match was a testament to the dedication these officers bring both to their profession and their training.

Our members turned out in full force to support the competitors, creating a wave of cheers and encouragement that echoed through the venue. The camaraderie was powerful, officers, families, and supporters united in celebration of discipline, competition, and mutual respect.

We’re already looking forward to future Battle of the Badge competitions and hope to see even more NDOC officers' step into the arena.
