Brother down

*** Update- Rivera is heading into surgery and we hope to here news of a successful surgery soon.

Our brother Lt. Rivera was involved in a very serious head on collision this morning on the ‘95. A wrong way driver apparently collided with Rivera’s vehicle. He was flown to the hospital after the jaws of life were used to remove him from his vehicle. I am told he is alive, but he obviously needs intense medical treatment. The hospital has asked that visitors wait 8 hours before coming to see him. FOP is working on getting someone down there to check on him anyway. Please keep Brother Rivera in your prayers as we hope he makes a full recovery. Be safe and take care of each other.
