I have posted the CBAs for the upcoming years of 2025-2027 on the CBA page of our website. To be crystal clear, the language in the CBAs reflects what we agreed to and were awarded during arbitration. These documents are what the Governor's Office submitted for funding after the approval by the Board of Examiners. Please understand that this language is going to reflect provisions that we fought for and won for you through arbitration. Keep in mind that everything that we won was not funded by the legislature. The plan moving forward is to pursue full funding through the budgeting process for the next legislative session which will occur in 2027. For the years 2025-2027, you will not see the full benefit of all of the compensation provisions as listed in the CBA. The items that were funded have been discussed and listed in prior posts. We have discussed legal action regarding the lack of funding with our attorney. Our attorney joined the last lodge meeting to explain the details as to how the statutory scheme in Nevada works. For now we believe that the most effective course of action moving forward is to utilize the new process outlined in AB 356, which FOP successfully lobbied to help get passed.
