HDSP captured food flap policy

So it has occurred countless times in most of the units, where inmates are capturing their food flaps and causing disruption to operations. Make no mistake about it, this is a safety matter. Since Warden Bean replied today that the admin at HDSP have circulated this memo, let’s make absolutely sure EVERYONE follows this policy to the letter. That includes shutting down unit operations if more than 1 food flap is captured, unit operations shut down. This is for everyone’s safety, so don’t take any shorcuts, let the operations come to a screeching halt as outlined in the attached memo. I assure you if an incident jumps off and one of you makes a mistake while their are open food flaps, they will point to this memo and say, “why didn’t you follow this.” So as irritating as it may be to wait for the supervisor or the AW to come down to your unit, the upside is you get some downtime while you’re waiting.
