Lethal Force Grievance and BOPC meeting

Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 1 pm, there will be a Board of Prison Commissioners meeting. See link:

if you click on the agenda, you will see that the Lethal Force grievance is on the agenda for discussion by D.D. Williams. As many of you may know, this is a critical safety issue that faces our institution. I am calling on all FOP Members and NDOC Officers to attend the meeting in order to submit your comments regarding this issue. If you cannot attend at 1 pm tomorrow, please submit your comments by 9 pm tonight, July 26, 2021 via this email: BOPC@doc.nv.gov If you submit comments via email, let me know so that I can reference them at the meeting. This is not just the NDOC administration, this is the Governor of Nevada, the Secretary of State, and the public. Speaking of that if anyone knows any media, reporter types that might be interested in this massive safety issue, feel free to give them a heads up. It’s time to stand together and make our voices heard. Don’t hold back, this is our chance to prevent the unthinkable from happening to one of us. Be safe and take care of each other

UPDATE- I was previously under the impression that we would be able to call in and make comments. If you want to attend and make comments in person, you have to go to the video conference site. They have one in Carson city and one at the Grant Sawyer Building. I will not be able to attend in person, but I will definitely submit my comments to the appropriate email address listed above.
