Brothers and Sisters, we have a lot to discuss at the upcoming lodge meeting. There has been a development regarding Longevity Pay and potentially dropping the Appeal on the 3% Arbitration Award. The state has presented an offer that we will discuss at the meeting February 10th. I hope to have our general counsel Adam Levine present for the meeting to discuss this matter with us.
We have also had a development regarding the next legislative session. We will discuss the opportunity to submit a couple FOP sponsored bills with the assistance of a friend of Lodge 21 in the state senate. We also will discuss the possibility of making a donation to a PAC, in order to show our support of certain candidates.
We hope to discuss all of these things and more with all of you at the meeting. You all need to understand that this is your opportunity to voice your support or disapproval on the matters that will potentially impact your future. Don't miss your opportunity to be heard.
