Pay is jacked up. AGAIN. FOP is well aware of this and we were already organizing to present a Law Firm with the information on a FLSA lawsuit for untimely pay for supervisors. We will be organizing for a class action law suit for everyone in our bargaining unit and who knows maybe the law firm will want all state employees to join. We do not have a timeline on when this will move forward. If you would like to preserve your individual claim, which is always in your best interest, file a grievance with the exact amount that you are owed. The attorneys will need this anyway. Damages could include double the pay you are owed, so it is very important for you to document exactly what you are owed from any pay period. More to come on this issue.
Please consider donating to our sister who tragically lost her teenage son. https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-olivia-adames-unimaginable-loss?attribution_id=sl:265554d1-2441-47a3-b7d2-f0a44aa9143
Thank you to everyone who responded to the supplemental Peer Support training announcement. At this time, we have received minimal RSVPs for the Southern Nevada in‑person sessions scheduled for March
