Stein Mental Health Facility

Recently, FOP handed out gatorade, water, and chips at Stein. While we were unable to tour that day, we do have an upcoming tour after the next safety meeting. The level of security at this facility is so high, that FOP will only be permitted to access certain areas of Stein. During the shift change where we handed out goodies, we had a lot of great conversations and subsequent to that visit we had a meeting in person and online to discuss issues facing Stein staff. Currently the topic of 12's is front and center. You all have spoken loudly and we are working on the issue to maintain the shifts that you all want to work. I noticed that staff expressed similar concerns for benfits, safety, and staffing. I enjoyed the professionalism that was evident during these conversations and we are currently exploring the best avenuses to address your concerns.
