Supervisors CBA

Brothers and Sisters, we are making progress toward settling most of the articles on the first Supervisors’ CBA. The negotiations are finally moving the right direction. We still have our arbitration date scheduled at the beginning of February, but there is finally some optimism that we will have agreement on most of the remaining articles before arbitration is necessary.

Now, that means we will be turning around and moving immediately into negotiations for the compensation article and other portions of the CBA that require funding, for the “next” CBA that will go into effect July 1st. We appreciate your patience and just know that we are fighting tooth and nail to get you the same protections that the officers currently enjoy under the unit I CBA. It is and always has been imperative that we did not cave or mail in the effort on this first CBA, as this will set precedent for future CBAs and negotiations.
