Testified at the Legislature

I testified at the Senate Committee on Government Affairs today on two Senate Bills. One bill is to help the NDOC speed up hiring officers from other states. The more important bill is regarding giving FOP and other bargaining unit representatives the chance to negotiate a lower PERS contribution rate for the employees portion. This in turn would mean more take home money for officers, if we can negotiate a favorable rate.
