Tomorrow is the Lodge meeting at 9 am. Monday is the EMRB case regarding the failure to bargain over the max move to HDSP. If anyone can show up by 8 am to the EMRB case and give public comments to illustrate all of the safety and security deficiencies, please do. We told them HDSP wasn’t ready and we demanded to bargain. Paint the ugliest, nastiest picture you can for the EMRB to show them what the NDOC’s negligence has resulted in. Make them smell and taste the propelling incidents. Make them feel the extreme violence, smell the smoke from the fires, and understand the indifference that the administration shows, by not even showing up to incidents. Cutting corners with staffing, not completing training, and allowing unit operations to continue despite severe safety hazards like open food flaps, broken shower cages, exercise cages, etc. This is the time to make our voices heard!!! Put it right in their faces til they cannot ignore the conditions you have to work in.
