Holiday pay

As you are all aware, the holiday pay for those on the employee/employer retirement designation, does not appear to reflect a contribution towards PERS. I spoke with the LRU today and they have assured me that the contribution was not made for the last two holidays. This will be corrected on future checks, but according to the LRU 4th of July should be properly accounted for in your PERS contributions. The reason it shows up as overtime on your pay stub, according to them, is that there are too many codes for the NEATS system. The other issues for PHPRX and Muster not including PSAC for our ESP and LCC brothers and sisters, is also acknowledged by the LRU and will be corrected. I do not have a timeframe on these corrections. We are also aware that PSHOT was calculated incorrectly with regard to pers contributions being taken out for those on the employer only contribution plan. I have raised this with the LRU and they will look into correcting this. Lastly, i have stated our position that if you work a holiday on your RDO, you are entitled to PDOH and double time and a half for any hours worked. These are two different types of compensation. We will have to meet with the LRU and hash that one out, because they are likely not going to agree. We are diligently working on a lot of issues simultaneously, please be patient as these issues are not resolved overnight. Thank you all for your support and understanding. Take care of each other and be safe!

Wow, this is the first time I hear about OTPSD on muster. I didn't even know it existed. I brought it up a year ago but I got told, there was no such thing. We really need some training on how to submit our timesheets. We get training on everything else except how to get paid. We've been missing out on so much money. I will spread the news about the OTPSD. is that only on the days you work OT or is that for all of our muster pay?

Thank you FOP! Once again, the FOP pays for itself and then some.

If you work a qualifying shift(swing, grave, or nights on twelves) you get OTPSD on all overtime including muster. The state is going to calculate backpay for everyone and issue payment automatically once we get the settlement agreement signed.

I used the new code of PHPRX for June 19,2024 and it didn’t show up on this check.

That is something you will need to address with a payroll memo. If they do not correct it, you will need to file a grievance.

First of all thank you for being on top of this and noticing that at ESP we did not get PSAC on muster and PHPRX.

Also do you know if we can get OTPSD with muster pay i am being told we are not allowed. even though i work grave yard and supposed to get OTPSD on all overtime. Seems that all other concerns you are on top of it, thanks again.
