The biggest step up I’ve seen with an Officer union even before FOP won votes from the officers statewide. FOP was charging forward prior to gaining CBA for the officers and still to this day continues to strive for more. Lunkwitz has done an amazing job with the media, does an amazing job with answering questions without hesitation. I believe FOP will bring more to the table for NDOC as well as Forensic Officers. It’s marathon, not a race.
I just have one think to say “thank you FOP” I’ll pay $60 dollars just for them to represent me/us. God bless.
We should inform our fellow officers of the historic contract that NV corrections have ever bargained. Comments like this fall on all of us to communicate it to them. Thank you Lunk and board for donating your personal time to fight for all of us. AFSCME didn't care as much nor had the balls to demand such rights and benefits. Cheers!
