PERS Contributions

Good morning brothers and sisters,

I wanted to let you all know that thanks to brother Kobe Rushing bringing this to our attention, we have an answer for you on the PERS rumor. I received word directly from the LRU, that the PERS contributions are indeed being made by the state. The reporting of these contributions however is behind going back to May/June timeframe. There is no need to file grievances or flood the state with emails asking where your money is going, at this time. The response to my inquiry was answered immediately after the LRU contacted State Central Payroll. If I receive any updates, I will certainly pass them along via our platforms.
