I reached out to the head of LRU and this is the response I received:

“I was advised by NDOC that they will start on this process today to have it on the employee's next paycheck.”

I would imagine next paycheck means first check in October. I have discussed this matter with our attorney and we are monitoring this situation for possible legal action.

Those of you who have commented about longevity, that is a state employee benefit, not just a NDOC issue. I would imagine all state employees will receive Longevity at the same time.
