Supervisors in the same lodge as regular line staff.
I would like to know what the general consensus is of staff, when it comes to supervisors being members of our lodge. I myself have had a few conversations with officers about this. I'd like to know the opinions of a lager pool of officers. So we as the members of the lodge can decide how we want to proceed, either allowing them to stay or removing them all together.

There have been issues with having supervisors in the meeting. Officers have voiced concerns in meetings and supervisors present have used that information to get ahead of it to benefit to department over the officers. One example would be where officers complained about seniors mandating officers, within a week HDSP had memo making all seniors working the dest acting sergeant. Whats the point of even having lodge meeting if the officers don’t feel comfortable speaking in them because there are supervisors present. That alone should be enough to separate the lodge and have the supervisors form their own lodge. Let alone that the biggest challenges to the CBA have come from supervisors on many issues.
